DRUGMISUSE SERVICES AT
HER MAJESTY’S PRISON
ERLESTOKE, WILTSHIRE
The Wiltshire Community Safety Partnership would like to offer potential
providers the opportunity to express an interest in submitting a Tender for
Clinical and Psychosocial Drug Misuse Services at Her Majesty’s Prison
Erlestoke, Wiltshire.
The intention is to establish a contract with a sole provider or consortium to
deliver a treatment programme in line with national guidance.
Expressions of interest must be submitted in writing or by e-mail by
Midday on Friday 20 July 2012

Applicants wishing to express interest in the Tender will be required to complete
a Pre-Qualification Questionnaire. Selection at this stage will be based on
criteria including financial status, experience and professional expertise.
Applicants who meet the criteria at the PQQ stage will be invited to Tender.
The Service Specification, along with further guidance, will be covered within
the Pre–Qualification/Tender stage packs.
INVITATION TO TENDER
Royal Greenwich in partnership with HMP Belmarsh and HMP
YOI Isis invites organisations to tender for a:
DRUG AND ALCOHOL PSYCHO-
SOCIAL TREATMENT SERVICE
The service will provide a recovery focused programme of drug
and alcohol treatment that will enable offenders to sustain
treatment gains in custody and the community and ultimately to
reduce reoffending. The service will replace the current CARAT
contract which has been re-specified tomeet changing needs and
will work closely with a clinical drug and alcohol team that is in
place in each prison.
Funding available for the respective services is;
£490,000 per annum for HMP Belmarsh
£540,000 per annum for HMP YOI Isis
A three-year contract is offered, starting in 1st July 2013 with
an option to extend for a further 2 years.
The tender will be divided into two lots as we are seeking a
treatment programme that is tailored to work with the different
clients in each prison.
