Bosence
Bosence is a 12-step/CBT based
community offering rehab and is
registered with the CQC. We offer
3-month, 6-month, 9-month or 12-month placements, groups and
individual sessions, equine-assisted psychotherapy, grounds, woods,
gardens, art studio, yoga, meditation, wood turning and pottery.
We also provide transition and aftercare services, which address
resettlement, education, volunteering and work opportunities.
Boswyns
Boswyns is a purpose-built
detox and stabilisation service,
offering 2 to 6-week placements according to need and agreed before
admission. It is not tied to an ideology so people can use the service
irrespective of their chosen model of ongoing treatment. We offer
medical, nursing and social interventions, with medical officer and
consultant psychiatrist, yoga, acupuncture, group and individual
sessions. Registered with CQC.
DD, 12-step and CBT-based programmes available from January 2012.

ADS (Addiction Dependency
Solutions) is a regional charity
established in 1973
specialising in drug and
alcohol treatment across the north west and beyond.
Both Bridge and Bennett are registered with, and inspected by,
Care Quality Commission. The most recent inspection ratings were:
Bennett House, 3 Star (Excellent), Bridge House, 3 Star (Excellent)
Bridge House
is a residential rehabilitation unit for adult men and
women whose lives have been severely affected by alcohol misuse
and who are working towards abstinence. Accommodation
comprises single bedrooms and six self-contained flats. Services
include structured group programmes, individual counselling and
life and social skills. We also have a specialist children and family
worker and a separate two-bedroom house where residents are
able to rebuild relationships with their children.

Bennett House
is a residential centre for adult men who have
become alcohol dependent and see abstinence as a positive way
forward. Accommodation comprises eight single bedrooms,
communal facilities and seven-self contained flats. Services include
structured group programmes, individual key worker sessions,
independent living skills, social and recreational activities and
educational opportunities.

Preston Detox
is a new detox unit which provides a range of
detoxification options in a clinically safe, non-hospitalised caring
environment. The service is staffed 24 hours a day by a
professionally diverse team which includes medical staff, registered
nurses and support workers. This new 10-bedroom facility provides
7-10 night medically-managed alcohol detox. In addition, where
appropriate, three night kick-start medical and psychological detox.
