Welcome!
Well here we go, IT’S SUMMER TIME, well kinda… the forecast states a
scatering of sunny spells, heavy rain, thunder, floods and a high wind warning –
a typical Britsh summer, one could say. But at least we know one thing – our
spirits will not be dampened when it’s Pride and wedding season, so I raise a
beer and say ‘bring it on!’
This issue we can’t ignore Pride and the first World Pride held in London this
year – a great additon to all the amazing events happening in the UK. So much
change will happen in the next three years, from civil marriage to removal of
DOMA to name but a few. It’s our tme to be finally recognised as equal and
we’re excited about the possibilites waitng for us.
I have to say (and I know I’m a litle biased) that this is a great editon. We’ve
got Michael and Joe from South Africa and Australia, and the amazing story of
Sandra and Amanda finally holding their wedding in the UK a er a long overseas
relatonship. We’ve looked around the globe to find you the best places to
travel, and we’ve got some great fashion advice, right down to what hat to wear,
picking the right dress, and even skin care.
It’s amazing to see this magazine grow, the
support we get, and finally to have a quality
publicaton in the market place to help couples plan
their day. I am so proud to be a part of this and we
hope you find everything you need to make your
special day happen the way you want it to.
