issues. Our goal is to improve people’s lives through reducing the
harm caused by alcohol. Since 2000 Alcohol Concern has delivered

Consultancy services are available to investigate and advise on

alcohol strategies. We also offer training and consultancy on
alcohol issues in the workplace.

Adfam
Adfam is the national umbrella
organisation working to improve the
quality of life for families affected by
drug and alcohol use.
We have nearly 30 years’ experience
developing and delivering training and driving forward good policy
and practice. Our aim is to equip professionals across all sectors who
work with or come into contact with families, with the knowledge
and skills they need to recognise family members affected by
someone else’s substance misuse and to feel confident in providing
or signposting to appropriate support.
Our courses have been delivered to people across a range of sectors
including those working in family support services, treatment
services, schools, healthcare, children’s and adult services and
criminal justice settings.
We offer courses at entry level as well as more in-depth courses to
ensure that you feel equipped and confident to tackle issues you
may come across in your daily work and to help ensure that family
members are always in the picture.
All of our courses are also written to match to a range of National
Occupational Standards, allowing you to build on your own
professional development.
View our courses at www.adfam.org.uk/training for more
