W Hotel in Leicester Square. Afer researching London
register offices, we thought you couldn’t get more of a
London ceremony than in chelsea, walking down the stairs
onto the King’s Road with London buses passing by. We
wanted to keep our ceremony quite intmate and had three
of our close friends, Ann, Megan and darryl as witnesses.
The format for the ceremony was kept really basic. We
both felt rather emotonal on the day and having spoken to
my mom just before going into the Rosset room at chelsea,
the tears had already started. I don't think I could ever write
down in words what the last six and a half years has meant
to me. Joe is one in a lifetme and I have been given that life.
I love him beyond words.

The decision on what to wear was something we had both
decided would be a treat for us. Getng to own a beautful
suit can become something you enjoy for more than just one
day. Joe and I have very different styles, yet I think most
people would say that what we wear has been the topic of a
few conversatons. I have been a fan of Vivienne Westwood
for many years and knew that I had to have the chance to
splash out on our day. Joe has a more classic dress code and
found an amazing outit at Ralph Lauren, which we
coordinated by wearing matching tes and Joe wearing a
waistcoat by Vivienne Westwood to complement my suit. I

have a bit of a shoe addicton and so I had to find a pair that
would be remembered as part of the day. When I walked
into the store and saw the white brogues with red sole
detail, I knew they were going to be perfect!
We’ve built up a small but fantastc mix of friends in
London, and wanted to find a venue where they could share
one of the most amazing days of our lives. Afer coming
across the Hemple Hotel, I discovered that it had a
connecton to the movie Notng Hill, with the wedding
scenes filmed in the gardens. The hotel had an undeniably
English touch, while being set in very contemporary
surroundings. The events manager was so helpful in
arranging everything that made the entre experience
everything we could have wanted for our guests.

was a possibility Joe might jump!
A er telling me that was the
silliest thing ever, he said yes.’
