Cover Story – Pride
Bright in Brighton
in the heart of the city of Brighton, Preston Park will host
the Pride on the Park alfresco festival on 3 and 4 August.
Bringing people together from all walks of life – and from
all over the UK – for a truly unforgettable event, Brighton
Pride will provide an array of entertainment from a cabaret
tent, a women’s performance tent, a dance big top and a
community village. Paloma Faith, the Sugababes (original
lineup of Mutya, Keisha and Siobhan!), Stoosche and Ms
dynamite have all been confirmed to perform, making sure
this will be a party not to be missed.
the parade theme this year is Gay icons, so whether
you’re a Freddie Mercury or a Judy Gardland, make a
statement and make sure you don’t miss out on the fun.

From sing along Mamma Mia to a performance of drag
King richard iii, Bristol Pride week is set to offer wall-to-
wall entertainment. Between 6 and 13 July you’ll be
treated to performances from the likes of ryan Jagger and
Goldman, the very best in drag and cabaret
entertainment, as well as a silent disco and a family and
community area with creative activities and market stalls.
