festivities began. Walking into the venue, margarita or beer
in hand, really helped set the fun and relaxed tone.
Once we had decided on Sayulita, we began our search for
a wedding planner as we knew that we wouldn’t be able to
plan our wedding from afar. We are so thankful that our search
led us to katy and nicole – they did a phenomenal job of
listening to our vision and piecing together a ceremony and
reception that was exactly what we wanted. First, they helped
us find the perfect venue, Casa de Los delfines – an epic house
with a gorgeous lawn overlooking the ocean that created a
beautiful setting that easily accommodated our 70 guests.
The food in Sayulita is amazing and we wanted to
incorporate some of our favourite street food into our
wedding. instead of a traditional wedding cake we served
our guests macaroons and churros made on site. We also
had bags of homemade potato crisps with lime, salt, and hot
sauce as a late night snack. Good food is really important to
us and we had a lot of fun asking local food vendors to bring
their delicious treats to our guests!
‘During our holiday we
became decidedly convinced
that this was the place we
wanted to get married –
a wedding in one of our
favourite places on earth
was precisely the experience
we wanted to share with
all of our loved ones.’
