COME TO ROOM 101!
Are you in recovery? Do you have a pet hate
relating to current addiction practices? Could you
be on the panel at our ‘Room 101’ session?
THE RECOVERY IN THE COMMUNITY CONFERENCE (RITC5)
brings together
everyone involved, interested and inspired by addiction recovery. This year we’re
hosting a Room 101 style session and are looking for a panel member who’s in recovery
and wants to consign something to oblivion. You don’t need to have any public
speaking experience, you just need to be willing to speak in front of a large audience
and try and persuade them why your recovery pet hate should be banned.
TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THE PANEL
, please send a paragraph of no more than
100 words, or a video message, telling us about your pet hate relating to current
addiction provision, opinion or practices and why it should go into Room 101.
The successful panel member will need to be available on Monday 9 November to
attend the conference at the Crucible Theatre, Sheffield.
Travel and accommodation expenses will be paid.
