Jewellery that is sure
to turn heads…
What a gem
Cristina Steel always loved wearing gemstone jewellery
and when she bought a small batch of semi-precious
stones and made a few simple designs herself,
Cristina’s
Jewellery
was born and she hasn’t looked back.
The beauty of genuine semi-precious stones and
freshwater pearls is that they are natural, so come with
slight variations in shape, colour and texture. The resulting
pieces are therefore all unique. Pieces can be made using
silver, gold, rose-gold and bronze wirework, and threaded
with semi-precious stones, freshwater pearls and glass and
crystal beads.
For budding designers, Cristina also offers bridal jewellery
making workshops at her home in Swindon, where you
can create something really special for each other or make
accessories for the bridal party.
Modern marvels
For couples looking for something a
little different,
Josef Koppmann
Jewellery
create big, bold and
imaginative jewellery characterised
by minimalist, clear-cut lines and
matt textured surfaces. Combining
traditional goldsmithing techniques
and modern design elements, their
one-of-a-kind pieces have a
symbolism that carries beyond
passing trends.
Designer Josef Koppmann was born in Italy, and after
graduating from Arts and Crafts College in Vienna, Austria,
came to London, where he set up his studio in 1995. In 2008
he opened a showroom at the OXO Tower on London’s
prestigious Southbank, where all of his collections are hand
made and sold. Focused on impeccable craftsmanship and
comfort for the wearer, Josef creates appealing,
contemporary jewellery, unique for its sculptural quality and
spatial lightness.
Best-selling pieces include his timeless wedding bands and
engagement rings, where vibrant opals, aquamarines, fancy
coloured or rough diamonds, set in 24ct gold, dominate and
lead the direction of each appealing creation.
Josef and the whole team strongly believe that each happy
couple is unique in their needs and strive to ensure that the
whole experience is as individual as their special day.
